In January, we moved to LA!
I celebrated my birthday in February. You know how I love my birthday! ;) Good thing it comes every year.
We had a million lovely visitors in March. Thank you, thank you for coming to see us! (I hear Seattle's quite nice this time of year.)
In April, Jon and I got to see the blood moon from the coolest spot in town, Griffith Park, which was basically in our backyard. I will never get over that adorable little apartment, I tell ya.
May was rough. Jon and I moved to Seattle. It was a difficult transition (which you can read about here), although I can happily say, the city is definitely growing on me! Good friends and a sense of community can make a world of difference.
My dear dear grandmother passed away in June. I miss her and think about her every day. It makes me super happy that this tribute to her was the most read post on my blog :) So many people love you Grandma!
In July, I spent some time at one of my favorite places on earth, my grandparents' cabin in Island Park.
August was fun. We went camping at this awesome beach (Twilight fans, you'd geek out so hard about it. Too bad I'm not one.) and took a trip to Vancouver with my family.
My best friend came to visit me in September! We had such a blast. I love her. (Rachel if you're listening: come baaaaack!) And another best friend moved to Seattle, and into my house. Yay!
More good friends came to visit us in October. We love you Wayne and Andy!
November was chicken soup for the homesick soul. Jon and I went back to Salt Lake, and I can't even tell you how wonderful that was. Really, I don't think I could explain it if I tried. It was just exactly what I needed.
December has been filled with so much fun. Jon and I are currently in Maryland, celebrating the holidays with my family. My grandpa is here too which is so so fun.
It's been an amazing, difficult, challenging, love-filled year full of learning and growing.
